Agency

Kea Travel & Tours is an adventure travel expert. We arrange travel services and sell travel related products on behalf of leisure vehicle rental suppliers but not limited to. The suppliers we deal with are carefully selected, reputable and are providers of quality products and/or services. In doing so Kea Travel & Tours gives no warranty nor makes any representation regarding the services to be supplied or the products purchased by you. Your booking will be subject to the terms and conditions applied by the provider of the service or products. To the best of our ability, we strive to ensure that all arrangements made will be carried out as efficiently as possible. We Make it Happen !

Suppliers

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the individual suppliers of the services/products booked and will be provided to you by us. These terms will include information relating to their specific cancellation fees or change fees as applicable to confirmed reservations, refunds, etc.

Force Majeure

Kea Travel & Tours shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you as a consequence of Kea Travel & Tours or any of the suppliers being unable to perform its obligations under your contract(s) due to the unusual or unforeseeable circumstances (a “force majeure event”) beyond the control of the party affected by the force majeure event.

Liability

As Kea Travel & Tours is only acting as an agent we have no liability in respect of the supply of any element of your booking, including any liability for illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind, delay and inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any provider of travel services or products or by other third parties. Any claim for damages for injury, illness, loss or death must be brought against the relevant supplier of the travel services or products. However, we are with you every step of the way and will never abdicate our responsibility to you on behalf of our suppliers.

Tour Prices

All prices shown on our website, emailed quotes or WhatsApp, are based on existing rates as provided by our suppliers as well as the exchange rate at the time pricing was prepared, pricing is however subject to change without notice due to sudden currency fluctuations, rate adjustments from our suppliers, availability at time of booking etc. Again, we are with you every step of the way and will not abdicate our responsibility to you and or suppliers. All prices provided include the items specified but do not include any items of a personal nature such as visa’s, meals and beverages not specified, fuel, entertainment, and travel insurance etc. All prices are only guaranteed once full payment has been received by Kea Travel & Tours and cleared in our bank account or the suppliers account.

The Contract

After Kea Travel & Tours / suppliers has received your deposit or full payment (if applicable) and we have issued a confirmation invoice, a contract will exist between you and supplier, effective from the date printed on your invoice. The terms and conditions of the supplier you have booked with will apply to your booking. Once the contract is made, the supplier is responsible for providing you with what you have booked.

Payment

Payment can be made by means of an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or credit card / debit card. EFT payments are required within same day of confirmation of reservation to secure your required reservation. Any held bookings will automatically be released should funds not physically reflect in our bank / bank account. Documents can only be issued and sent once full payment has been received and all services are confirmed.

Service Fees

Kea Travel & Tours may at its discretion charge service fees on your booking. Clients will be made aware of these charges if applicable.

Cancellation Fees/Refunds

If you cancel your booking, you will incur a cancellation charge in line with the suppliers’ terms and conditions.

Law

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Vehicle Rental

The minimum age limit for vehicle rental is 23 years old, drivers younger than this will be charged a surcharge for the rental and must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence for at least 2 years, if allowed to rent by the Supplier.
